This week: Creativity, food and time spent at home.
What a great week: I shut off my social media, so I could focus, and embraced my creativity. It was a head down, all hands on deck, kind of week as we are launching our autumn collections in a few weeks, which means...
1 - New clothing, here's a couple of pics. I used to think my clothing was evenly split for summer sea lovers and autumn adventurers. Now I realise the key word is simply "Escape" and I'm fusing the wild with the free. This autumn is all about finding joy in the outdoors, as we escape indoors. My friends and I are still preferring to meet outside, this is certainly a shift from how we used to meet and even more need for cozy sweatshirts and warm, comfy layers. New releases drop early September.
2 - Along with new clothing ranges are new travel prints, lots of you have been in touch and asked me for destinations closer to home, as such I've got some wonderful new travel prints en route AND not forgetting my 100 skyline project. I'm in the process of listing a "NEW" section on the website to make it even easier for you to design your space.
3 - Talking of the website...have major re-development underway and, amongst other things, I'm in the throws of changing our navigation to make it so much easier to shop. I have almost 1000 art prints for sale and it's sometimes a challenge to find them. So, goodbye to the mega menu and hello intuitive menu. There will be a full launch next week and I'll keep you posted on what's new.
4 - Top three restaurants of the week: The Ivy - Winchester, Gandhi - Winchester, where I discovered Hariyali Chicken, and Palm Brasserie - on the Andover road. Sorry for the rubbish picture of Gandhi, it doesn't do it justice, it's absolutely wonderful and has been voted one of Winchester's top Indian restaurants. The full Trip Advisor list of top restaurants in Winchester is here. Enjoy!
5 - My final Friday 5 is time well spent at home. We will be saying goodbye to our beautiful Winchester view as we embrace Hampshire country life this Autumn. Swapping our wonderful golf course view for picturesque Hampshire hills and we have been lucky enough to find a home that fulfils our need for a big sky, open space as well as being nearer family. Meantime Bali, our cat, has run out of mice, having pretty much eaten all the ones here. Our new house is next to a farm and I am sure she'll be busy enough there.
See you next week, enjoy your time and don't forget to visit the website for art prints, travel posters and more!
